Who is this guy?
My name is Nick Abraham and I live in Navarre, Ohio with my beautiful wife and daughter. I am a Christian, or a bit more explicitly, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died and was raised three days later. I believe that through faith in Jesus, his death becomes my death and his new life becomes my new life. I believe that through faith in Jesus my sins are forgiven and I am a new creation in him. Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
I am an Associate Pastor at Alpine Bible Church in Sugarcreek, Ohio. I received a D.Min. in Biblical Spirituality from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I received a M.Div. from Liberty University School of Divinity and have a BA in History from Kent State University.
I don’t particularly love defining myself with theological labels simply because many have their own ideas about labels and categories. You may be able to tell from my Blogs I Read page that I try to read stuff from across the spectrum of orthodox Christianity.
On a less important side, I love coffee, books, writing, Ohio State football, the Cleveland Browns, and french fries.
Does the internet really need another voice adding to the endless chatter in the blogosphere? Well, my hope for this blog is that it would not just be more static. My purpose is to publicly think through issues relating to the Church, discipleship, the kingdom, and other things relevant to the Christian life. I pray that this public thinking will be helpful and edifying to those that take the time to read my ramblings.
This blog is my own personal blog. The views expressed here or by any others that may post herein do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of the church by which I am employed or any other organization or event that I may be involved in or with.
